Set up Google Business Profile

Last updated

Help nearby customers find the right business: yours. Start by claiming your place on Google, then connect it to Onça when you’re ready.

First, is this for your business?

Business Profile is for eligible businesses that serve customers in person at a location or travel to customers. Online-only businesses are generally ineligible. Take a look at Google's eligibility guidelines before you spend time setting one up.

Find or add your business

Give your business name and city a search on Google Maps first. You might already be there. Claim the existing unverified profile if there is one. If someone else already manages it, request ownership. One business with two profiles is a headache you can skip. If no profile exists, use Google's add-business flow.

Complete verification

Use the details your customers would recognize, then follow the verification option Google offers. The method can vary, so work through the steps shown for your business. Keep your real-world business name, address or service area, hours, and website accurate.

Connect a location to Onça

Once you can manage the verified profile, connect Google in Onça with an authorized account and select the location. Business Profile posting is a paid-plan workflow: Standard includes one location and Plus includes three. No eligible local business? You can still get started with Search Console in Onça. There’s no need to force a fit.
